Sign up for OpenCoreEMR’s fast, secure, and completely zero-cost EMR solution.

OpenCoreEMR offers a fast, secure, and completely zero-cost EMR solution.

New accounts require a valid NPI. During the sign up process, users will be required to validate their email address and agree to the Terms of Service and sign a BAA.

Create your account

  1. Click Get Started.
  2. Verify your email address
    1. Enter in your email address.
    2. You will receive an email with a verification code and reference number.
    3. Enter the verification code and reference number to complete the email verification process.
  3. After verifying your email, you will receive a sign up link. Reenter your email address.
  4. Enter practice details.
    1. Select your practice type and enter basic practice details such as NPI.
    2. Use the same email that you verified in step 2.
  5. Agree to the ToS and BAA
    1. Review and accept the Terms of Service.
    2. After accepting the ToS, your application will be reviewed by the OpenCoreEMR team within 1 business day.
    3. Upon application approval, you will be notified to sign a BAA.
  6. Create your EMR user account
    1. After signing the BAA, you will receive an email to create your EMR user account.
    2. The email will include your dedicated EMR sign-in page. Bookmark this link for easy sign in.

FAQ

What do I do if I didn’t get any emails?

Common reasons why you may not see your emails:

  • Not delivered yet - Some emails may also take a few minutes to arrive.
  • Caught by spam - Check your spam folder.
  • Got lost in the inbox - Search your inbox for “OpenCoreEMR” in case it got missed.
  • Incorrect email - Confirm the email address is correct. If you did not receive an invite email, check with your admin that they sent the email to the correct address.

Why was my account not approved?

Common reasons why your account may not be approved:

  • Invalid NPI - New accounts require a valid NPI.
  • Incorrect practice information - Practice details flagged as fake may get rejected.
