This page records published versions of the OpenCoreEMR Data Processing Addendum. The current DPA controls unless an applicable agreement expressly provides otherwise.

Version 1.1 — August 3, 2026

Version 1.1 restated and replaced the DPA last updated June 12, 2026. The documented changes were:

  • amended Section 2.4 concerning order of precedence;
  • added Section 2.7 concerning De-Identified Data;
  • amended Schedule 4.A concerning California;
  • amended Section 1.10 concerning the DPA Setup Page;
  • amended Section 2.5(b) concerning the Business Associate Agreement;
  • added Section 2.8 concerning authorized uses and retention;
  • amended Section 5 concerning Security Incidents; and
  • added general provisions addressing effective application, no material reduction of data-protection rights, and the continuing effect of unamended terms.
